What is a horse?

She is from the Lord

A touch of velvet on soft skin

The muscles rippling within

I reach out to her

Leaning, hearing a heart like thunder

The softness of her, on my cheek

Her breath like God’s word brings me peace

Deep pain has always pursued me

But now there is the neigh of a greeting

What is life with a horse?

It is trust and patience and a kind of truth

It shows God’s heart for you

She is not just for working

But to strengthen our spiritual understanding

So to say the least,

Kids don’t just come to smooth soft fur

But to find love when they can’t endure

I will say that long ago I lost the fight

till I met my heart horse who saved my life.
